SYNOPSIS
A twist on the traditional telling of this tale. Unexpected dames and a twist in the tale
King Richard is away on crusade and King John and the Sheriff of Nottingham are in charge, putting up taxes whenever they feel like it. The Sheriff is being pursued romantically by Maid Marion. Sir Guy Gisbourne isn’t dong a very good job of curtailing the exploits and fame of Robin Hood and his merry men. A darts match is arranged to decide the hand of Maid Marion between the slightly dimwitted Robin and the Sheriff. Robin has not seen how ugly she looks and must be tricked into marrying her so that a devious plot to steal both their lands can be carried out. The final twist in the tale catches everybody out.
