SYNOPSIS
Mayor Modomoi the rightful and kind Mayor of Paris has disappeared an his evil cousin Mayor Frollo is in charge now helped by his dimwitted brother and vain sidekick Freelo. Just as Modomoi disappeared the mysterious bellringer of Notre Dame Quasimodo appeared and rings the bell every day to remind the people of Paris what to do and when. So much so, that they appear to be under the spell of the Bell of Notre Dame. Frollo is still very unpopular though and advised by Michele Mabelle the evil witch he plans to steal the bell, throw the people of Paris into confusion and return it himself and be proclaimed a hero. Quasimodo enlists the help of Esmerelda and the gypsies, who are banished form the streets of Paris, to find the bell first. Not easy as it is hidden by a spell deep inside the Forest Noir, the creepy black forest. The gargoyles of Notre Dame provide extra comic relief in the belltower.
